The challenges for European Energy infrastructure debated in the Winter Seminar organized by FUNSEAM and the Chair of Sustainable Energy of the UB  

Madrid, March 6, 2015. Alberto Pototschnig, director of ACER, shared his knowledge and views on the challenges facing Europe to meet energy needs with efficiency as the cornerstone, with an audience of executives from leading Spanish energy companies.

Pototschnig laid out the regulatory challenges that have to be met to put in place the infrastructure necessary for the development of a consolidated European energy market.

The Seasonal Seminar are spaces offered by FUNSEAM which provide opportunities for in-depth reflection and discussion to deal with current issues in the energy sector. The seminars are intended for companies that make up the board of FUNSEAM.

ACER is a European Union agency that promotes cooperation between European energy regulators. Its independent structure ensures that market integration and harmonization of regulatory frameworks are made in relation to the objectives of EU energy policy.
