III INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS SYMPOSIUM FUNSEAM - PROGRAMME ADVANCE

From the beginning of the energetic markets liberation process there have been huge technological and institutional transformations that require a deep thinking about the workings of the energetic systems so as to advance to a regulation that benefites the consumer. The integration of the European  Markets is a very important step that requires urgently new inversions in networks and interconnections. A more competitive market will help to have an energetic system which is more sustainable.

In this symposium the main goal is to give answers to questions that the sector has on the table. ¿Is it necessary to revise the workings of the energetic markets? If so, in which sense? What is the new role of the transport workings and the distribution of the electricity and the gas? What role has the consumer in the new model? What role have the markets and the infrastructures to face the challenge that the sector has? Why is essential that Spain has more interconections of electricity and gas with the rest of Europe and South of the Mediterranean? Which are the reciprocal benefits that are obtained in Latin American and Europe and the development of the energetic projects? Can the energetic sector improve the environmental sustainability?
