El próximo 22 de noviembre FUNSEAM y AELEC organizan el Winter Seminar “Interoperability of Networks”, en el marco del proyecto europeo TR@NSENER. Esta jornada pretende analizar tanto los retos técnicos como las oportunidades de negocio en un contexto de creciente digitalización de las redes eléctricas. La sesión tendrá lugar en la sede de AELEC, Paseo de la Castellana, 141.

Activities such as the international symposium, seasonal seminars, and book presentations related to the energy sector, and any other activity or event organized by FUNSEAM.

d) Manage sending of invitations for the international symposium, seasonal seminars, book presentations, and any other activity or event organized by FUNSEAM, by any means of communication (including email).

The legitimate interest of FUNSEAM and, where appropriate, the consent of the interested party.

Recipients of personal data

No data will be shared with third parties, except when consent has been previously provided, or when legally obliged to do so.

Moreover, companies that host the different activities and events organized by FUNSEAM will have access to personal data, as well as service providers that FUNSEAM contracts or may contract and that require the access of data of personal nature (cloud computing, auditing and technical or computer support services).

Interested parties rights

Interested parties can exercise the rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, limitation, portability, and not be subject to automated individual decisions, in the terms specified in the additional information.

COMPLETE PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY:

This Data Protection Policy regulates the processing of personal data provided by data owners via the website of the Foundation for Energy and Environmental Sustainability (hereinafter, "FUNSEAM"), in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, concerning the protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data (hereinafter, "General Data Protection Regulation").

1.- Party responsible for data processing

The party responsible for personal data processing is the Foundation for Energy and Environmental Sustainability (hereinafter “FUNSEAM”), ID number  G-65666527, based at John M. 2. - Purpose of data processing

The personal data that you provide via the different forms on the FUNSEAM website will be processed, depending on the form used, in order to:

a) Reply to suggestions and queries sent to FUNSEAM by anyone via the contact form on the website

b) Manage delivery of newsletters and reports to all those who request it by subscribing to this service, in order to be informed of any news or events that may be of interest.

c) Manage registration and assistance of all those who request it via the form on the website for the different activities organized by FUNSEAM. 3. - Legitimization of Data Processing

The legal basis that enables FUNSEAM to process the personal data necessary to address the suggestions and queries received via the contact form is the legitimate interest of FUNSEAM to process information requirements via the website and, if applicable, the consent given by the interested party.

The legal basis that enables FUNSEAM to process the personal data necessary to send newsletters and up-to-date reports on the energy sector is the legitimate interest of FUNSEAM to manage subscription requests to the newsletters and, where appropriate, the consent given by the interested party.

The legal basis that enables FUNSEAM to process the personal data necessary for the purpose of enrolling users in FUNSEAM events and activities of  is the legitimate interest of FUNSEAM in managing registration requests and attendance at activities and events and, where appropriate, the consent given by the interested party.

The legal basis that enables FUNSEAM to process the personal data necessary to manage the sending of invitations to FUNSEAM activities is the legitimate interest of FUNSEAM in keeping users informed of any event or news that may be of interest to the user, in which case, the consent given by the interested party.

It must be noted that, in all cases, any processing is carried out in the interest of the data owner because they have either made a suggestion or logged a query; or have requested the newsletter; or have requested registration to any of the activities or events organized by FUNSEAM; or are interested in being informed about any FUNSEAM activity or event, related to their professional or activity sector.

In summary, all processing is carried out under the provisions of articles 6.1.a) and 6.1.f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (obtaining consent for the processing of data, and / or legitimate interest of FUNSEAM and the data owner).

4.- Saving personal data

The personal data provided in the contact form will be kept and processed throughout the time necessary for the resolution of suggestions or queries.

FUNSEAM will process the personal data of newsletter subscribers, provided that the data owner does not exercise the right of opposition to the processing of their data for such purposes.

Additionally, FUNSEAM will process the personal data of those subscribed to the different events and activities organized by FUNSEAM, provided that the data owner does not exercise the right of opposition to the processing of their data.

FUNSEAM will process the personal data of the data owners to manage the sending of invitations to attend the various events and activities organized by FUNSEAM, provided that they do not exercise the right of opposition to the processing of their data for such purposes.

In all cases above, after aforementioned period of time, FUNSEAM will save the information and, where appropriate, documentation, duly blocked, exclusively for making available to Public Administrations, Judges and Courts, for the attention of possible responsibilities stemming from processing, during the limitation period of aforementioned responsibilities.

5- Recipients (cessions or data administrators)

FUNSEAM will not share the personal data of the data owner with third parties, except when consent has been previously granted, or when legally required to do so.

However, the hosting companies of the different activities and events organized by FUNSEAM will have access to personal data; in order to manage the access of people attending the different FUNSEAM activities or events and in accordance with the provisions of Article 6.1.f) of the General Data Protection Regulations.

The companies providing the following services to FUNSEAM will also have access to personal data:

  • Cloud computing.
  • IT and technical support.

6 - Data owner rights

FUNSEAM is committed to respecting and facilitating the right of the data owner to access, rectification, deletion, opposition, limitation, portability, and not being the subject of automated individual decisions by the affected party, under the terms and within the limits established in Articles 15 to 22 of the General Data Protection Regulation.

The scope and content of the aforementioned rights are explained herein.

  • Right of access: The data owners has the right to consult FUNSEAM’s possession of their personal information and, if so, to request information about the nature of the personal data in our possession. Furthermore, FUNSEAM is obliged to answer, among other questions, why this personal data is used, and to provide details about what data is held and with whom access to aforementioned data is granted. However, this right is not absolute and access rights may be restricted by the interests of other parties, in the terms provided in the GDPR. This right can be found in Article 15 of the GDPR.
  • Right of rectification: FUNSEAM is obliged to rectify any inaccurate personal data and complete any incomplete data when requested to do so by the data owner. This right is regulated in Article 16 of the GDPR.
  • Right of withdrawal (right to be forgotten): In the event that any of the circumstances set out in Article 17 of the GDPR occur, FUNSEAM is obliged to delete any personal data should the data owner request to do so. However, this right operates within the limits described in Article 17 of the GDPR.
  • Right to limited processing: In the event that any of the circumstances set out in Article 18 of the GDPR occur, FUNSEAM is obliged to limit the use made of personal data when requested to do so by the data owner, in accordance with the specific terms described in Article 18 of the GDPR.
  • Right to request data portability: In the event that any of the circumstances set out in Article 20 of the GDPR occur, the data owner will be entitled, if requested, to receive the personal data that concerns them once they have provided FUNSEAM in a structured format, common use or mechanical reading and subsequently transmitting aforementioned data to another entity without any impediment on the part of FUNSEAM (including when FUNSEAM is expressly requested to send directly as long as it is technically possible.) However, this right operates within the limits described in Article 20 of the GDPR.
  • Right of opposition: In the event that any of the circumstances set out in Article 21 of the GDPR occur, the data owner has the right to object to FUNSEAM using any personal data. In such cases, FUNSEAM would be obliged to stop using any personal data once this right has been exercised. This is the case when using personal data for marketing or direct marketing purposes. This right is regulated in Article 21 of the GDPR.
  • Right to not be subject to automated individual decisions, including profile preparation: The data owner has the right to not be the subject of a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which has any legal repercussions for the data owner in any way or significantly affects them in a similar way. This right is regulated in Article 22 of the GDPR and operates within the limits of aforementioned precept.

Personal data will be treated with levels of protection in accordance with the requirements of the regulations in force regarding the protection of personal data at all times thus guaranteeing their security and confidentiality.

En el marco de un proyecto financiado por KIC-Innoenergy y con el objetivo de analizar el impacto económico que se deriva de las decisiones de naturaleza regulatoria, FUNSEAM y la Cátedra de Sostenibilidad Energética de la UB han realizado un trabajo de investigación donde se evalúan los efectos económicos que tienen las decisiones regulatorias en el ámbito de los costes regulados asociados con el transporte y la distribución y la promoción de las energías renovables.

Evento enfocado al análisis y situación de las Smart Grids, realizado como una de las actividades del proyecto TR@NSENER. Proyecto europeo cofinanciado por el Programa Interreg SUDOE a través del Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional (FEDER). Su organización estuvo a cargo de FUNSEAM con la colaboración de la Cátedra de Sostenibilidad Energética de la Universidad de Barcelona, el 9 de Febrero de 2017 en la Facultad de Economía y Empresa de la Universidad de Barcelona.
